J-DHS has a literary magazine?
Meet the RamPage Staff
I created this site during the '10-'11 school year. Part of J-DHS's Class of 2011, I've long since graduated. While I no longer hold any connection to the RamPage's content, I was WebSite Manager for my junior and senior years.
I enjoy piano, tennis, and table tennis, and I study at the University of Southern California.
This is my third year as adviser for the RamPage and I'm very proud to work with such wonderful, intelligent and creative students.
I play basketball and tennis. My favorite team for basketball is the Miami Heat, and my favorite player is Dwyane Wade. My favorite tennis player is Roger Federer. I enjoy reading, mostly fantasy, but I like many types of books. I have a Playstation 3 that I play that during my free time. I also writer for the Rampage and am a manager for the JD Rampage website.
I am a part of the website managing team for the JD rampage. I am a part of the JD football team, swim team, and lacrosse team. But, I like to do so much more than the team sports I'm involved in and love trying new things. JD is a great place to grow and be proud of what you do. With the things I have been a part of, such as RamPage, I have high hopes for the future.
I am Editor-in-Chief of RamPage this year. I'm excited to bring new ideas to the RamPage site and expand the Web presence of RamPage to Twitter and Facebook!
I've been on the staff since sophomore year, when I was News Editor. In my junior year, I was Managing Editor for Story Ideas and Communication. I plan to pursue a degree in Communications or Journalism in college next year.
Fun Fact: I'm a bassoonist! I perform in various local groups such as the Syracuse Youth Orchestra and Allegro Youth Wind Ensemble.
Hola! My name is Tessa Devereaux and I am a senior at J-DHS. I am the Managing Editor for Ideas and Communications, and I have been on the RamPage staff since my freshman year. My time consists of school, homework, soccer, running, and sleeping. In between these activities, I enjoy eating chocolate. Next year I will be attending Stony Brook University to play Division I soccer and attend their medical school. Someday I would love to become a pediatrician, or work for a major newspaper publication in a major city such as the New York Times. I would also like to own a Hummer and compete in marathons. Anyways, enough about me...GO READ THE RAMPAGE!
My name is Hadjer Sahraoui, and I'm a senior at J-DHS this year. This is my second year serving as News Editor and my third writing for the RamPage. Being involved with the school newspaper helped me realize my love for writing and makes me want to pursue journalism further, possibly as a minor in college. I enjoy baking, painting, music, and plain old surfing the web. Have fun on jdrampage.com, and your suggestions are always appreciated!
Hi! My name is Whitney Harrigan and I'm the Entertainment Editor for the RamPage. I'm a junior, and this is my third year writing for the RamPage. Besides writing, I participate in In Achord, play lacrosse, and volunteer with a club I started called Destination 'Cuse. This is my first year as an editor, and I'm really excited to be a member of the RamPage!
Hi, I'm Jenny and I'm the Features Editor of the RamPage. I'm a junior and this is my third year writing for the school paper. I do the school musical every year and this is my second year in In Achord. This is going to be a great year for the RamPage!
I am the Sports Writer for the JD Rampage. As a senior at J-DHS, this will be the most fun year. So I will enjoy it! Let's go! Yeeeaaaah!!
Senior Katie Cieplicki is thrilled to be a member of the Rampage staff this year as an Assistant News Editor. She wrote for the Rampage as a freshman and is happy to be back. Katie is President of Key Club and Vegetarian Club and Vice-President of DECA. In her free time she enjoys watching Glee, playing tennis, baking cupcakes, listening to music, and spending time with friends. She also thoroughly enjoys writing, both creatively and structurally, and plans to major in English next year.
I write articles.
Hey everybody! My name's Emily O'Brien, and I'm an editor for the J-D RamPage. I took journalism for a full year when I was a freshman, and I really loved it, so I ended up joining the RamPage in my sophomore year. I'm currently a junior, so I've been with this for three years now. My favorite color is cobalt blue, my favorite band is probably Fleetwood Mac (but I love all types of music), and my favorite food is definitely chocolate icing. Hope you guys all enjoy reading our updates on RamPage!
I'm one of the Sports Editors for the RamPage this year. This is my second year writing for the school newspaper. I love sports, like basketball and lacrosse, and love writing about them.
