Occupy Syracuse protesters visited J-D this past month, spreading the word about their worthy cause.

Questions regarding the Occupy movement have echoed through the halls of Jamesville-DeWitt High School since the protests began this summer:

“What is Occupy Syracuse? What are their goals? And why are they sleeping in tents outside of the Chase building?”

On Jan. 11, members of the recently revived Young Democrats and Liberal Club hosted four members of Occupy Syracuse, hoping to alleviate some confusion students have regarding this movement.
