Fauxed News?

Oh, Glenn Beck, you amuse me.
It seems that since Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States, Fox News became the base for the right-wing Obama critics. Some of the claims on our new president are moderate, often using conservative facts rather fiction. Others, such as TV’s Glenn Beck offer smear attacks and misguided falsehoods in order to get their point across. Now, disagreeing with the president is by all means fine, but Beck’s argument not only contradicts itself, but also sounds moronic when one of his co-anchors tries to correct him in this excerpt from Fox News;
Here Beck states that,” [Obama] has a deep seated hatred for white people,” and in less than a minute after he announces “I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem.” Deep seated hatred and not liking someone are two TOTALLY different things right?
Hate (verb): to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest: to hate the enemy; to hate bigotry.
Dislike (verb): to regard with displeasure, antipathy, or aversion
Looking past that worthless claim, you can see that Obama is half-white and that the majority of his administration is comprised of people mostly of Caucasian descent. Beck’s claim lacks not only common sense, but distracts people from focusing on the real issues such as the newly proposed healthcare plan. Because of the racial smears, some of the healthcare protests in the capitol have nothing to do with either economics or policies;
People like that amaze me.
Glenn Beck isn’t a journalist. Seriously, the man admits it himself. "I'm not a journalist," Beck said in a recent interview with CBS, "I'm an opinion guy." This so-called opinion guy is given an hour on one of the most viewed news networks in the world and paid not give facts and the news, but to offer a huge racial and religious bias on the world. Perhaps like accusing a Muslim congressman of working with terrorists as he does here:

In my opinion, Fox news needs to get rid of Glenn Beck. Yes, the man brings in a lot of ratings and helps get the network more publicity. But this man is not only dividing the country on false pretenses, he alienates minorities with his racial and prejudice. You need to live up to your motto of “Fair and Balanced” and stop giving some Faux News.
