Many students at Jamesville-Dewitt High school are fired up for the upcoming Christmas season. Some J-DHS students crave the expensive gifts, while others are just about the holiday spirit.

What would J-DHS students like for Christmas?
"For Christmas I want a real pig, chocolate cake mix and purple fuzzy socks. If I could have anything in the world I would want a real pig," says freshmen Morgan Pusey.
"For Christmas I'm asking for clothes and ski boots. If I could have any gift I would want an Audi A4. That is the sweetest car I've ever seen," says freshman Colin Stone.
"For Christmas I want a blender," says junior Austin Roney.
"A new cell phone, basketball shoes and Jordan stuff," says sophomore Austin Tousaw.
"Nothing. I already have what I want and I have enough stuff," says sophomore Yin Sitthisun.
"I want the MacBook Pro lap top 15-inch screen. If there was no money limit I would want a Mercedes Bends," says senior Rachel Gugger.
"I want an SLR digital camera. If there were no money limit I would want a shopping spree so I can get whatever I want," says junior Alexis Wilson.

Where do J-DHS students go shopping?
"I'll shop anywhere for gifts. If I go shopping at a mall I go to Carousel," says Pusey.
"The mall I shop at is Carousel because it seems like there are a lot more stores there and ShoppingTown is kinda a ghost town," says Stone.
"I usually shop at Target and I would rather go to ShoppingTown," says sophomore Maggie Fuller.
"I shop at the mall for gifts, and I prefer to shop at Carousel," says junior Jessica Butler.
"Anywhere a lot of stuff is available like Carousel Mall. It's kind of far but it's worth it," says Roney.
"New York City. I went there last weekend and I'll go to Carousel," says Wilson.

Who do J-DHS students go shopping with?
"My mom takes me shopping. But I'll go with anyone but my sister," says Pusey.
"I'd rather go shopping if my brother takes me because my mom always wants to get the person something else," says Stone.
"I usually go with my mom to the mall but I also go by myself. I like going shopping with my friends because they're awesome," says Fuller.
"I usually go with my parents unless I'm buying for them," says Roney.
"My mom or sister. They just pick stuff out and I say if I like it or not," says Tousaw.
"My mom and dad because they buy me things," says Gugger.

Do J-DHS students procrastinate or did they start shopping the day after Thanksgiving?
"My mom makes me get presents early," says Stone.
"I go early to get my gifts," says Butler.
"I always get my gifts last minute," says Pusey.
"I wait until last minute," says Roney.

What do J-DHS students get more of for Christmas, gift cards or physical gifts?
"For Christmas I usually get more gifts. They're from the heart," says Pusey.
"I would like to get more gift cards but I actually get gifts," says Fuller.
"I get gifts not gift cards," says Butler.
"I get more gifts than gift cards," says Roney.

What are some gift ideas for your fellow J-DHS students?
"Jewelry and gift cards," says Butler.
"Shoes, CDs, movies, and ITunes gift cards are some good gifts for other people," says Pusey.
"Gift cards I like because the person can buy whatever they want," says Stone.
"Something cute like smencils (scented pencils), food, wonder ball (a really bouncy ball filled with water and glitter), something wintery like a hat, bumper stickers, and posters of your favorite sports player," says Roney.

Do J-DHS students get gifts for their family and friends?
"It's a secret of what I'm going to get for others. Sometimes I get gifts for my friends," says Pusey.
"I'm planning on getting my little sister some clothes and a crib for her dolls. I usually only get gifts for family, not really friends," says Stone.
"I'm planning on getting my sister and brother a video game," says Fuller.
"I'm planning on getting movies for people. I do get gifts for my friends," says Butler.
"I'm going to get gifts for my host family," says Sitthisun.
"Not usually, maybe a couple of friends but it's hard to decide where to draw the line for who to get gifts for. I'm not expecting to get anything from my friends," says Roney.
